Braided Rug

When I was about seven, I started to make a blue braided rug for my Amercian Girl Doll, Molly.  It didn't come out so well.  Now almost twenty years later I tried again.  This time I did some research and it came out really well.  Check it out.

I used some more fabric sewn as a ribbon to lace the braids together.

I used denim, corduroy, and some colored cotton fabric I had left over from a previous project.  I think it came out really well.

It lives on our kitchen floor in front of the sink and it is super comfy to stand on.
